Everyday questions, answered

What are Soleil sunglasses for?

Soleil is the everyday world — city, terrace, beach and travel. It comes in two lenses: Cobalt Blue for town and terrace, and Elysian Green for the beach, bright light and travel.

Cobalt Blue or Elysian Green — which should I choose?

Choose Cobalt Blue for the city and the terrace: a graduated lens (category 3, 17% transmission) that is darker at the top and softer below. Choose Elysian Green for the beach, strong light and travel: a grey-green lens (category 3, 12%) that keeps colours natural in bright sun.

What is the Elysian Green lens?

Elysian Green is a grey-green lens that keeps colours natural and true while taming bright light — a calm, classic choice for the beach, strong sun and travel. Category 3, 12% light transmission, with full UV400 protection.

Are Soleil lenses polarized?

No. For glare off water and snow the polarized Azur range is the better choice; for driving, DriveVision is non-polarized so screens stay readable. Soleil is the everyday sun lens.

What lens category is Soleil?

Both lenses are category 3 — Cobalt Blue at 17% and Elysian Green at 12% light transmission — with full UV400 protection. CR-39 lenses in a stainless steel frame.
