What we collect

When you contact us, we receive the details you share: your name, email address and message. When you subscribe to our updates, we store your email address with your consent. Our website uses analytics to understand how pages are used — in aggregated form, with anonymised IP addresses.

The webshop

Purchases are handled on shop.himalayan-eyewear.com, powered by Shopify. Order and payment data are processed there under Shopify’s safeguards; payment details never touch this website.

Why we process data

We rely on your consent (newsletter, cookies), the execution of your request (answering a message, sizing advice) and our legitimate interest in understanding and improving the website.

Sharing

We never sell your data. We use a small number of processors to run this site: our hosting provider, Google (analytics), Brevo (email) and Shopify (webshop). Reviews shown on this site are public Google reviews.

Retention

Contact messages are kept as long as needed to help you. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe — every email contains a one-click unsubscribe link.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can request access, correction, deletion or a copy of your data, and object to processing — one email suffices. You can also lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.be).
